What is Visioboard ?

VISIOBOARD replaces the mouse and keyboard of a standard computer operating under the Windows environment (full compatibility with Windows 95 or Windows 98).

The position of the mouse cursor is directly controlled by eye gaze. The validation (mouse clicks) can be controlled by the duration of gaze, or by eye blinks or by an external actuator.

VISIOBOARD provides an easy access to many application available under the Windows environment:

  • writing messages
  • drawing
  • remote control
  • internet browsers
  • electronic mail

How does Visioboard operate ?

VISIOBOARD includes the computer display (liquid cristal display) and two cameras :
  • the "head" camera that indentifies the position of both eyes
  • the "eye" camera determines the precise orientation of gaze from the relative position of the corneal reflex and the pupil center
